Rose Muhando; born in Dumila, Kilosa District, Morogoro Region, in Tanzania, 1976) is a gospel music artist in the Kiswahili language known as the queen of gospel songs in the East African region.
Rose, who was a Muslim, is a mother of three children. This mother claimed that at the age of nine, she had a vision of Jesus Christ while he was asleep. He suffered for three years, and after that he was healed and changed his religion (converted) and became a Christian.
He started his music career as a choir teacher called St. Mary’s Choir in an Anglican church called Chimuli in Dodoma region.
