Leeds is facing a Football Association investigation after a supporter climbed over a fence and confronted Newcastle manager Eddie Howe in the technical area during a 2-2 draw at Elland Road.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety of coaching staff and players in high-profile matches, prompting Howe to call for an increase in security arrangements. Although two security men intervened quickly to drag the offender away, everyone was initially caught unawares.
The supporter has been banned for life by Leeds. Howe expressed his frustration that Newcastle could not win the game, largely due to a much-improved performance by Leeds in Sam Allardyce’s second game in charge. Newcastle’s Champions League hopes remain in their own hands with three games remaining.
