The prestigious Trace Awards 2025 took place last night in Zanzibar, celebrating the best artists from Africa and the diaspora. The event showcased incredible talent, and Tanzania was well represented, with two of its top artists winning major awards.

  • Diamond Platnumz won the Best Global African Artist award, further cementing his status as one of Africa’s biggest stars.
  • Nandy secured the Best Tanzanian Artist award, proving her dominance in the country’s music industry.
